HISTORY:

Cola drinks account for more than 70 percent of the United States soft drinks on the market today. It is said to be a great reliever of asthma.

PREPARATION:

Drinking cola as a beverage is the most convenient way to enjoy it for a quick pick-me-up. If you prefer to have a decoction, add 1 to 2 teaspoons of powdered nuts in a cup of water. Bring to a boil and simmer for 10 minutes. Drink no more than 3 cups a day.

Kola is a 40 foot tree that grows in West Africa, Brazil, Indonesia, Sri Lanka and the Caribbean.
